Unlocking a New Dimension: 3D Transformations

What is 3D Transform?

Adobe XD has always supported designing in two dimensions — allowing you to scale, rotate, and flip objects on a flat surface. Now, with the 3D Transform feature, you can design and manipulate objects or layers within three-dimensional space.

This means you can tilt layers and add depth along the Z-axis directly on the canvas. Pretty cool, right?

How does it work?

You can apply 3D transformations to any individual element, group of objects, or layers. To do this, select the layer and enable 3D Transform from the Property Panel to simulate the 3D effect.

Once 3D Transform is enabled, new object controls will appear in the Transform section, along with a Gizmo at the center of the selected object.
